ABOUT KATIE

Katie A. Sparks, President and Fundraising Philanthropy Consultant

Katie has always had a passion for collaborating with philanthropic donors and nonprofit organizations to do the most social good together in the Milwaukee region and beyond. As an experienced fundraiser and fundraising consultant, Katie’s forte is working side by side in assessing your nonprofits’ supporters and donor base with a focus on financial results through research. With access to information and data, Katie is able to discern philanthropic giving patterns and prioritize donors for nonprofits to contact, especially major and recurring donors.

Katie bridges communities, consults, coaches, and works with small and large nonprofits to advance community initiatives and equity, as well as discovering sources of funding and implementing strategies to secure sustainable revenue.

Katie comes from a philanthropy, fundraising, and fund development background, working in development and engagement leadership positions at highly regarded Milwaukee-based nonprofit organizations including Kathy’s House, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee, Schlitz Audubon Nature Center, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin, Nehemiah Project, and the Girl Scouts of Wisconsin – Southeast.
